Oct 13: Jeremy.  Air Tran#32.  5:30pm. Walter will pick up.

Oct 14: Talia Justin.  Delta#2470. 6:34am.  Walter will pick up

            Larry rents car at 9 am (earlier if arranged)

            Move into rental 3pm, using Henze car, Hank car, Kaiser car 

      Holly Vasco. Virgin Air. #342. 7:05pm.  Larry or Walter pick up 

Daven. Mid day arrival? Time and pick up person

            Holly Vasco early evening I think. 

           Dinner is deli food whenever you arrive at the house, kitchen never closes  

Oct 15: Joel Vasco.  Virgin Air #346.   8am.   Holly pick up 

             Elena. Frontier Air #F9-0386. 2:17 pm.  Pick up Henze or Morias 

            EVERYONE THERE !! For dinner Yeah, relax, park the pick up cars  

           Dinner made by the Aunts and Uncles, BBQ and Birthday Cake 

           Shabbat at last.

Oct 16: Sleep in, fix your own breakfast, have lunch on the yacht 

            while we cruise 

            Dinner made by Talia, Justin, Daven, Joel, Vasco, Jeremy, Elena while 

            adults recline, leaning to the left.  No cars go to the 

             airport all day.

            Dinner just the senior people, so probably be high cholesterol,

Oct 18: Check out of rental noonish. Mom Hank taken home by Holly, Larry, 

        Vasco  and return the car.

Don't know where to write this on.  Anyway, I have board games, in case it rains, can also bring give-aways for prizes, could make Halloween costumes if we figure out what to use as materials, have an Israeli CD from Laurie with lots of familiar tunes on it, (and many not-so-known), we could do some Israeli ethnic dances as Sarah has led in the past, play sharades, no end of fun ideas. The usual songs or  poems will be the highlight of the party, to be printed to give to everyone.  Maybe I'll get other ideas in the next few days.

Today we went with the Cantor Center to an Indian Casino.  Tonight Hank is coming down with a cold.  In case I get it from him, I'll be done with it before you kids come and enjoy the bash.

Message for Sarah:  Eddie from the Cantor Center, died in his sleep, Sunday.  He was a nice guy to us, but tough on his employees, so they say.  There will be a Memorial Service tomorrow.

Omi Awards ("The Omieees")

It is time to celebrate ourselves and our "Ominess", (as Colbert would say).

I announce the First Ever "Omi Awards", to acknowledge those who have done outstanding work, developed a lifestyle, made a contribution, or developed a habit which demonstrates values and qualities we associate with Omi.

So send me your nominations. Create a category, pick a person, and tell me why you think that person deserves the honor. Entries should be in English, mostly, although poetry or music are acceptable.

Nominations are limited to family and significant others. You may nominate your siblings, your parents, your child, your relations, or yourself, as I don't care.

Award winners will be announced during Omi Bash 2010.

The award appearance is still under consideration. Figurines made out of marzipan have a popular appeal (as they go well with a nice cup of coffee).

Entries due by October 15. Offer void where prohibited. Your mileage may vary.
